Design Variationen
Stille Verlängerung eines bereits bestehenden Tisches. Ziel dieses Kundenauftrags war es, zusätzliche Sitzgelegenheiten zu schaffen, die sich harmonisch in ein bestehendes Ensemble einfügen – nicht als eigenständige Objekte, sondern als durchdachte Begleiter eines bereits vorhandenen Esstisch.
Um eine stimmige Einheit zu schaffen, haben wir dasselbe Material gewählt: Kernbuche – für eine durchgehende Tonalität und Haptik. Das Design wurde im engen Dialog mit dem Kunden mehrfach überarbeitet, bis Form und Proportionen genau stimmten. Am Ende stand ein simplistischer Entwurf mit leicht ausgestellten Beinen und sanft gerundeten Übergängen zur Sitzfläche – schlicht in der Struktur, aber mit bewusst gesetzten Details.
Besonderes Augenmerk lag auf der Auswahl der Holzmaserung für die Sitzflächen: Jede zeigt den natürlichen Charakter des Holzes auf ihre eigene Weise. Mit einer Sitzhöhe von 47 cm und einer Fläche von 30 cm sind die Hocker kompakt, vielseitig und langlebig – nicht dafür gemacht, im Mittelpunkt zu stehen, sondern um leise zu überzeugen.

A quiet extension of the table. This client commission called for two additional seats that would feel at home next to an existing beech heartwood dining table — not as standalone objects, but as thoughtful companions to what was already there.
We chose the same material — beech heartwood — to keep the tone and texture consistent. The design is deliberately minimal, with tapered legs and a gentle round joint at the top where the legs meet the seat. It’s a simple structure, easy to bring out when guests arrive, but with just enough detail to make it feel intentional.
Careful attention went into selecting the grain for the stool tops, highlighting the natural character of the wood and ensuring each piece had its own quiet beauty. Light, versatile, and built to last — these stools aren’t trying to stand out. They’re built to fit in.
